COVID-19: SA Health Recruitment Drive

A progressive rollout of request for Expressions of Interest from health professionals

SA Health is committed to the wellbeing of the South Australian community. The COVID-19: SA Health Recruitment Drive has been established to ensure that we have a co-ordinated and well-resourced response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additional recruitment of health professionals is required to staff our hospitals, health sites, aged care facilities and dedicated COVID-19 clinics to cope with the increasing demand on the South Australian public health system.

We are seeking expressions of interest from health professionals, who do not currently work in the South Australian public health system, including those who have retired (excluding those who are currently within the re-employment exclusion period after taking a TVSP from the SA Public Sector) to form a pool that can be drawn upon as the need arises. In some cases students at an advanced level of study (as stipulated) may be considered.

You will be a vital part of our team, supporting our current workforce, during this increased time of demand on our health services. This is an important time to help the South Australian public, especially our most vulnerable cohorts.

Appointments may be sessional, casual, fixed term – part time, and fixed term – full time, to provide flexibility in responding appropriately to the evolving situation of this public health emergency and the impacts it may have on our workforce. Flexibility in hours can be negotiated. The locations will vary across Adelaide Metropolitan and Regional South Australia depending on demand. More information on possible locations can be found at metropolitan health services and regional health services.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from the following health professionals:

  • Nursing and Midwifery
